After the primary introduction in our home page we like to confirm our position that the Dominican Republic is in fact, The Diving Center of the Caribbean, because of the numerous and ancient shipwrecks and the whale and marine mammals sanctuary.

Through these means and the wonderful underwater flora and fauna of the Dominican Republic, it was a long need to produce these diving guides, so divers like you and your friends, the underwater archaeologists, the oceanographers and the marine biologists, can come and explore our ultra diversetype of waters and get the best accurate information to plan your dives beforehand.

We want to provide informationto you aboutdiving centers around the island that can help you responsibly in findingthe hotels where you can stay and have fun, as well as to give you information about all the services you may need during your stay in the Dominican Republic, so that youmay have the most wonderful, exciting and interesting safe dives of your life.

The Nautilius Project is opening the heart of our seas for you, knowing that by doing so, our underwater environment will be better protected by our community, our visitors and ourselves.

We want to open our seas to:

Besides our spectacular corals at different shallow depths, we have in the east coast the deepest abyss in the Atlantic Ocean at 8,648 meters or 28,374 feet., This is exactly were the Caribbean sea meets the Atlantic Ocean making interchanging waters very oxygenated and rich in marine life. This produces a permanent stream current that travels through the west coast with a high visibility diving line along the Caribbean coast of the island.
