Informing the entire educational and student community in Greece about the 2nd meeting 1st workshop of Nautilius by publishing an article at the official webpage of the Greek School Network – Directorate

Today the Directorate of Secondary Education of Pieria, in order to inform the entire educational and student community in Greece about the realasation of the 1st workshop-2nd Meeting of Nautilius created an article that was approved and uploaded to the official webpage of the Greek School Network.

Informing Efthymia Gkouli, an athlete who has conquered a Bronze medal at the World Swimming Championships in Mexico in December 2017 about Nautilius – Directorate

The Directorate of Secondary Education of Pieria contacted Efthymia Gkouli, an athlete who has conquered a Bronze medal at the World Swimming Championships in Mexico in December 2017, which was organised by the International Paralympic Committee. After Mrs Gkouli was informed about Nautilius she shared Nautilius leaflet with her friends on her facebook page.

2nd meeting of Nautilius at the Directorate of Secondary Education of Pieria (11y 2018)

During the day of the 2nd Meeting of Nautilius the partners managed all issues related to the progress of the project, evaluated the 1st Workshop -2nd Meeting of Nautilius and set the dates for the realisation of the 2nd Workshop-3rd Meeting that will be organised by Enna Nuoto Murgano in Enna. After the meeting the Greek partners have organised a cultural activity which was a visit to Mount Olympus.

The second day of Nautilius 1st Workshop was held at the office of the Directorate of Secondary Education of Pieria. Mr Ioannis Kaztaridis welcomed the members of the consortium from Italy, Enna Nuoto Murgano, Essenia-uetp and Edirne Youth and DIsabled association from Turkey.

During the 1st day of the 1st workshop at Asterias Sports Club – Demonstration of a practical swimming course

During the first day of Nautilius Workshop a second demonstration of a swimming course for 3rd grade students (9 years old) was presented by the Greek partners. The class also included students with disability and the Greek partners showed how education can promote the social inclusion of students with disability.

1st day of the 1st workshop of Nautilius at Asterias Sport Club (9 May 2018)

At the first day of Nautilius Workshop representatives from three schools from Pieria were invited to participate in the Workshop. The consortium members had the chance to discuss with the school Principals and teachers of these schools and exchange their opinions on how education can promote swimming as a mean for the social inclusion of disabled learners which is the theme of the Workshop.
